The CrossGolf follows the new Volkswagen Design DNA, that translates to horizontally aligned band of the radiator grille between the headlights that is reflected in the horizontal form of the front bumper. The ride height has been increased by 20 millimetres to handle even rough off-road trips smoothly. The exterior styling is rounded out by chrome accents and “the CrossGolf” signature on the side trim as well as new 17-inch alloy wheels. The car will be offered in six different exterior colors.

The interiors include two-tone fabric covered sport seats, floor mats decorated with colour seams, the “small leather package” with three-spoke steering wheel, gearshift lever trim and grip in leather and aluminium pedal caps?as standard. For the equipment section, standard interior features are the car semi-automatic “Climatic” climate control system, multi-function display, remote unlocking of the fuel door, lockable and cooling glove box, reading lamps in front?and so on.
