The rumors that Bmw was planning a new M5 Touring haven't received an official backing until now. But that did not stop artist Jon Sibal, from rendering a possible BMW F11 M5 Touring, which shares much of its looks?and feel?with the new 5-Series.
There aren't any details as of now, but it is said that mated to a dual-clutch 7-speed transmission, a direct-injection twin-turbo 4.4L V8 delivering 570-hp will replace the current V10 in the M5. The torque rating will amount to 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) racing the car to somewhat around 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds.
The next generation M5 Touring renderings have surfaced on the web hinting to the probable styling and appearance that the wagon may carry. BMW had lifted the covers off the Touring version of the 2010 5-series a while back. The automaker also announced that a new M5 was in the works, and would be reveled some time soon. This makes it the perfect timing for an artist to speculate the expected design of the Touring version.
