Geneva 2010: Mansory's Rolls Royce Ghost Turns Heads

(March 4, 2010 )

The new Mansory Rolls royce Ghost is turning quite a number of heads at the Geneva Motor Show this year. Although the car might divide opinion primarily owing to its blue and gold color combination, it sure is garnering a lot of attention from onlookers. The wild color scheme certainly sets this Ghost apart from its brothers.

The interior of the Rolls Royce stands out from the rest as the most luxurious ever made. Mansory has managed to surprise even?car experts by taking this one level up. The interior now sports smoother leather hides and ultra suede, along with exquisitely patterned carbon fiber. Illuminated door sills and LEDs light up the cabin.

The body is splattered with blue all over, while gold is painted on parts such as the front grille, front wheel houses and door handles. Mansory claims that the gold and blue paint job accentuates the Ghost’s bold lines. Let us have a quick look at some of the major specifications of the car: a new rear spoiler, rear skirt, rear diffuser and the double sport exhaust system. The 6.6-liter V-12’s twin turbochargers have been replaced with bigger units, and the car now provides a massive 720 horsepower and 752 pound-feet of pulling power. Acceleration from 0 to 62 miles per hour takes only 4.4 seconds. The car weighs in around 5450 pounds. The top speed is a staggering 310 km/hr (192.6 mph).
