The interior of the new concept is spacious too, offering 30.5 cu-ft of cargo capacity (62.3 cu-ft when the rear seats are folded down). The dimensions of the car are: 4,585 mm long, 1,871 mm wide and 1,612 mm tall.
The Volt MPV5 concept uses the same Voltec platform as in the Volt family cars. The new concept is obviously inspired from the design elements of the Volt, including the headlight, taillamps and grille. The five-passenger crossover features Volt-inspired fascias, 19-inch aluminum wheels, and dual skylights.

A 150 horsepower engine and 16 kilowatt-hour battery used in the Volt. The vehicle also claims a zero-emissions EV range of 30 miles, twice the average daily commute distance in urban China. Plus, when the batteries are dead, a 1.4-liter petrol engine is employed to charge up and provide a further 300-mile electric range.This enables the MPV5 to have a range of 482 km (300 miles). While detailed performance specifications weren’t released, the MPV5 has a top speed 160 km/h (100 mph).
