Facelifted Toyota RAV-4 2010 to Debut in Geneva

(March 3, 2010 )

The un-ending recall news of several? Toyota models has not done much to enhance their reputation or credibility. In the midst of this, Toyota unveiled the?facelifted Toyota RAV-4 2010 which premiered at Geneva. It comes with a new front-end treatment, an improved refined interior and some minor but improved engineering tweaks that reduce CO2 emissions.

These new updates tie the RAV-4 to the European Toyota's latest models like the Avensis, Verso and Auris. There is some unfailing Lexus IS element in the design. The stand-out interior feature is the new leather/Alcantara seat upholstery.

The exterior features are mostly concentrated in the front and lend a car-like appearance and they include a newly designed bonnet, a new wider chrome grille with horizontal bars which is a nice choice, new headlamps which look less conventional, with integrated projector-kind low fog lamps and a reshaped and sporty front bumper fascia besides a re-designed hood.

The facelifted RAV-4 2010 will make its exclusive European debut on a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine powering 158-hp and a 2.2-liter D-4D with a 150-hp or 180-hp. Sadly, the facelifted RAV-4 will not grace US showrooms.
