2010 New York Auto Show: 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon

Joining the TSX lineup of Acura's sport sedans, the 2011 TSX Sport Wagon has been unveiled at the New York Auto Show. Ready to go on sale this fall, the new TSX Sport Wagon according to the manufacturer is “the right car for those seeking for luxury, utility and fuel economy.”

Sharing much of its gear with the European Honda Accord Touring, the same 2.4-liter inline-four cylinder unit is found on the TSX Wagon that delivers a total of 201 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission fit with steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters, the car returns a fuel economy of 30 mpg on the highway. The sedan version also gets a V6 engine.

The TSX Sport Wagon rests on 17-inch, 5-spoke aluminum wheels, giving it an aggressive stance.?Comfortably accommodating five inside, the Wagon boasts an innovative and highly functional rear cargo space that includes a removable side panel to accommodate wider items such as golf clubs and integrated under-floor bins for hidden storage.? The overall length of the vehicle is 189.4 inches and its wheelbase stands at 106.5 inches.

Inside, the Wagon?features the latest advanced technologies including an available hard disk drive-based Acura Navigation System? with an all-new 8-inch full VGA high-resolution color display and Acura Link Real-Time Traffic and Weather? featuring radar image mapping.? Also included are Acura/ELS Surround Premium?Audio System and a hard disk drive (HDD) for media storage, a power glass moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather seats, a premium sound system, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, and USB port and AUX jack music interface.

The prices are expected to be revealed closer to sales.
